With no Glastonbury festival in 2026, we are taking the opportunity to do some community consultation about how the area is run in future years.

Meanwhile, we are negotiating how to continue to maintain the two acres in our stewardship at Worthy Farm. The farm at present is closed to all visitors, while the Eavis family take a well-earned opportunity to appreciate the land.
We will continue to run the permaculture area at the fantastic and award-winning Green Gathering, and some of us are working with Shift Bristol to run a Permaculture Design Course.
Looking forward to September 2027 - we will be organising the Permaculture Association Convergence. We have our excited pants on already - this will be a true meeting of the clans and something very special. We'll keep you updated via the blog.

Glastonbury Work Weekends
At the moment, we are negotiating access to the farm during this fallow year. We are hoping to gather:

2 - 4th May Early May Bank Holiday (20 places) - weeding and repairing infrastructure

22 - 25th May Late May Bank Holiday (Whitsun) (20 places) - planting perennial vegetables

14 - 17th Aug Harvesting and Pruning Weekend (15 places) - Harvesting summer fruit, replanting perennial veg and summer fruit tree pruning

25 - 27th Sep Harvesting and closing the site (15 places) - harvesting fruit, planting winter manure, and mulching
As soon as we have confirmation, we will let you know via the blog and our socials. It will be purely ticketed, as the land is resting this year.
