Machynlleth:​

Introduction to Permaculture:

In person classes in Machynlleth, Pantperthog and Glandyfi

5 - 7 JuneIn person, with visits

3 - 5 JulyIn person, with visits​​

72 hour Permaculture Design Course:

Blended learning: online and in person, with visits to local projects.

11 - 13 September: In person, with visits

25 - 27 September: Optional weekend site visit to Worthy Farm, Somerset

2 - 4 & 10 - 11 October:      In person, with visits

23 - 25 October:  In person

31 October:   Optional visit

1 November: Presentations & Celebration

With weekly online sessions: Weds 6:30 - 8:30

Weekend teaching - 9.30am - 4.30pm

  • 19 & 20 Sept

  • 17 & 18 Oct

  • 21 & 22 Nov

  • 12 Dec

Taught either at the Gasworks Studio in St Werburghs, or at Grow Wilder in Frenchay.

Weekend Field visits

10.00am - 2.00pm

  • 26 Sept (mandatory)

2 (or more) additional field trips (details of each coming soon)

  • 3 / 4 / 10 / 11 Oct

Field visits are either in Bristol, or up to an hour outside of Bristol (shared transport will be arranged between students for field trips outside of Bristol)

Mapping Skills day

9.30am - 3.30pm

  • 24 Oct

TBC - a Bristol location

Group design project work

Flexible hours outside of course time, from end of Oct to early Dec.

Each design project takes place in a real location - to ensure students can apply permaculture to live and dynamic challenges.
